THE MULBERRY ACRES
FARMHOUSE

THE PERFECT GETAWAY
Built in 1890, our farmhouse has been part of this little corner of Michigan for more than a century. Set on seven peaceful acres, it’s a place with creaky floors, vintage character, and plenty of room to slow down and settle in.
Today, the property is also home to Mulberry Acres Rescue, a nonprofit parrot rescue and sanctuary, giving this old farm a new chapter and a very colorful collection of residents.
We hope you’ll make yourself at home, enjoy the quiet, and love this place as much as we do.

Mandy was an excellent and responsive host! The house was just outside of the city and easy to get to, a great central location. It was well laid out, my kids enjoyed the toys, and I loved the thoughtful bird decor!

RESCUE & SANCTUARY
A safe place for parrots to land
This farmhouse is part of seven acres that is also home to our nonprofit parrot sanctuary. What began as a love for animals has grown into a place dedicated to giving surrendered and disabled parrots a safe place to land. Your stay at the farmhouse is one way we’re able to support that work.
